Mein Name ist Marko Panic. Ich bin 1987 in München geboren und dort aufgewachsen. Meinen ersten Kontakt mit der Fotografie hatte ich mit Anfang zwanzig während meines Kunststudiums bei Karel Fron (freie Kunstwerkstatt, München).

Von da an war mir klar, dass ich Fotografie zu meinem Beruf machen möchte. Also arbeitete ich als Fashion- und Still life Fotograf bei Bestsecret.com. Anschließend studierte ich Fotografie und Grafikdesign an der Deutschen Pop Akademie, an der ich im Juli 2016 das Studium der Fotografie als einer der Jahrgangsbesten abschloss.

Parallel zu meinem Studium arbeitete ich im Studio Art in Action in München unter Leitung von Monika Sedlmayr und Edward Groeger als Foto- und Lichtassistent. Dadurch bekam ich einen fundierten Einblick in die High-End Werbefotografie. Außerdem während meines Studiums arbeitete ich für die Münchener Blues-Rockband Whiskey Foundation als Tour- und Pressefotograf. Die dabei entstandenen Fotos wurden beispielsweise in der Süddeutschen Zeitung, AZ, TZ und Rolling Stone Magazin veröffentlicht.

 

Seit Abschluss meines Studiums bin ich als Fotograf im künstlerischen Sinne tätig. Eine Übersicht meiner Arbeiten können Sie meinem Portfolio entnehmen.

Vita/Résumé

 

My name is Marko Panic and I was born and raised in Munich, Germany. I made the first contact with the art of photography in my early twenties when I took up my studies of Arts under Karel Fron (at Freie Kunstwerkstatt, Munich). That’s when I decided to make photography my profession. So I started working as a fashion and still life photographer at bestsecret.com. 

Subsequently, I studied photography and graphic design at Deutsche POP Academy and graduated in July of 2016 as one of the best scholars in photography. During my studies, I  worked as a photography and lighting assistant at Art in Action studios in Munich under the direction of Monika Sedlmayr and Edward Groeger. Thereby I gained valuable and profound insight into high-end advertising photography. 

In addition, I worked as press and tour photographer for Whiskey Foundation, a blues and rock band based in Munich. The photographs created in this project were featured in newspapers and magazines, such as Sueddeutsche Zeitung, AZ, TZ and Rolling Stone. 

 

Since I graduated from university I work as an artistic photographer. In my portfolio, you will find a selection of my work.
